Kindness Creates Kindness ...

I have been so lucky in my life to be inspired by such kind role models and I choose to focus on this rather than negativity and that is what warms my heart and leads me forward on my pathway.

Two of the most prominent role models that shaped my young years were beyond kind, my Dad and my Nan.

My Nan was an absolute gift from heaven to us all, of that I have no doubt, she was kind and renowned for her wonderful generosity to everyone. She helped people at their lowest point and helped them make their way again, without any motive, she was just her humble loving self and when I think of her she still takes my breath away.

My superhero was my Dad he was amazing and changed my young world bringing peace and fun. He would do anything for anyone and was super kind, generous and a fixer! It used to make me laugh when the kids would try to call for him and Mam would have to say no he can't come out he is getting his tea! Because he was everyone's friend, a true gentleman who expected nothing in return for his kindness, support and love. He was always our No 1 Fan.

When I reflect on the kindness they showed to me, it makes me so grateful and it has helped to shape who I am today, they taught me to be kind and to give, with no motive just because your heart is full of love and that is to this day what I try my hardest to do. If I can be a fraction of what they were to me then I would be thrilled. I hope I might have inspired my children with my kindness and they might inspire their children and so on.

More importantly if we all reach out with kindness to those that need it, those little acts can change someone's world, just like a thousand little steps created big change

Of course where there is kindness there will always be unkindest and people will question your motives, but if we just keep doing our own thing and spread our own light and power we cannot go far wrong. The shifting and guiding light for me is the spirit world, this is my consistent focus I follow their guidance and inspiration and go where I need and do what I need to do because that not only does that fulfil my life purpose but helps me to reach others and offer kindness just as it has been offered to me over the years. That ripple affect can continue if we give back out what had once been given to us.

Who inspired you with kindness?

What did you learn fro them?

I find when I look and think of kindness it makes me feel so warm inside and I much prefer to stay in this bubble than to focus on negativity.. so my message to you all? Keep inside your bubble of kindness, be kind to others in your words and thoughts and be kind to you ... you deserve it too ... this isn't just reserved for everyone else.

Finally I leave you with my favourite words for a beautiful poem by Mother Teresa these words were found carved on the wall in her home in Calcutta.

"People are often unreasonable illogical and self centred;

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of

selfish, ulterior motives;

Be kind anyway.

If you are successful,

you will win some false friends and some true enemies;

Succeed Anyway

If you are honest and frank people may cheat you,

Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy

overnight;

Build anyway

The good you do today will often be forgotten

do good anyway,

Give the world the best you have and it may never be

enough;

You see, In the final analysis, it is between you and your God.

It was never between you and them anyway"

Mother Teresa
