It is the most wonderful time of the year so they tell us, the adverts are full of glossy looking perfect families and we are surrounded by happy songs and loveliness and yet.... it maybe that the Christmas magic and sparkle does not seem to reach you or fill the hollow emptiness you may be feeling inside.
How do we celebrate Christmas when perhaps not everyone is here with us? For me this is one of my busiest times of year because there is so much pain and sadness attached to what should be a beautiful time of year. Each day I often hear how people would like to fast forward or don't feel they have a right to celebrate Christmas when precious loved ones will not be physically gathering around the tree.
However the spirit world have a different perspective on it all. They don't want us to be sad and not enjoying this time of year. On the contrary they love it when we can laugh and feel joy in our lives. Why? Because they still very much walk with us.
Yesterday was a day of sittings for me - all day I worked to bring messages of love from the spirit world to their precious loved ones here. On the afternoon I delivered a sitting to a lovely lady who was feeling so very sad and broken at the loss of someone who was her whole world. Her special loved one came through full of excitement and love, complete in her Christmas angel outfit and Christmas earrings to share the magic of spirit and that life was full of fun, joy and laughter - and that there is no death. Her message was clear:
"Please enjoy Christmas, I don't want you to be sad. I am with you still and always will be." Of course this cannot take away our physical pain or the longing for the physical, but this lifted that person so much. She showed us all the children in the spirit world playing and dancing around the Christmas tree, there was so much peace and love that it made us both feel so very warm and calm.
Today I was inspired to share the message with my sitters full permission of course - so where do the spirit world go at Christmas ? well they come to spend it with us of course.
So in the lead up to the big day, amongst the glitter and glamour and perhaps the sadness and heartache, know that we are surrounded in love. The connection and love between us and our loved ones in the spirit world can not be broken - it really is to infinity and beyond.
